What is Indantrene Dye? | Woolnat

Indantren Paint is resistant to ultraviolet rays; It is resistant to acids, alkalis and strong bleaches.

It is wash-resistant and skin-friendly.

Properties of Indantrene Dye

Indantrene dyes are a type of dyestuff that maintains its importance in cotton dyeing, especially for yarn dyed products, due to its high fabrication fastness.

They are superior to sulfur dyestuffs. Because sulfur dyestuffs are not specific to chlorine washes. However, it should be noted that not all vat dyestuffs have high fastnesses.

Indantrene dyes form the basis of dyes known as unique colors in dyeing and printing.

Colors of indanthrene dyes are rather dull compared to reactive and direct dyestuffs.

They are expensive due to the high cost of application methods as well as their own costs.

There is minimal color change in post-painting processes.

Since indanthrene dyes generally have very high dye yields, the dye absorption rate is not affected by changing dyeing conditions.

Indantrene Paint Usage Areas

In Areas Requiring High Fastness,

Uniforms (military, police, fire brigade, etc.)

In work clothes

In hospitals (surgical gowns, sheets, etc.)

Outdoor use (tent, awning, sun umbrella)

For domestic use (towels, cotton bed sheets, tablecloths, hospital articles, bedding, upholstery)

In sewing threads

In sportswear and seawear

They are used in yarn dyed woven fabrics.

They are always successfully applied in dyeing articles that are frequently washed, cottons for shirting, draperies (light colored as sunshades) and similar articles that require high light and washing fastness.

The use of Indantren dyed yarn in the production of striped and plaid fabrics provides many advantages in practice. This type of fabric is sized before being woven with dyed yarn and raw yarn, then goes to desizing, bleaching, mercerizing or bleaching processes.

It is the only paint type that can withstand all these processes.
