Merino: Prevent Sweat Odor

PROBLEM

Sweating is a mechanism your body uses to regulate its ideal temperature. Your body has more than 3 million sweat glands that constantly secrete moisture. Sweat turns into a foul odor as a result of bacteria and micro-organisms on your skin and/or clothing.

RESEARCH

Scientific studies have shown that wool causes less odor compared to other fiber types. The New Zealand Wool Research Organization (WRONZ) used a panel of human noses to compare the effect of different fiber types on odor. It was revealed that the use of Merino wool socks during exercise caused less odor than the others. 1The University of Otago conducted similar research on clothing fabrics and found that clothing made from Merino had a lower propensity for odor release after wearing compared to synthetics. According to the study, the intensity of the subjects' armpit odor was affected by the fabric worn. (Polyester had the most intense scent, cotton was medium scented, and woolen cloth was the least scented). 2nd

CONCLUSION

-Merino wool performs better than any other fabric at blocking odors.

-Merino wool does not contain bad odors. Most of the time, you only need to ventilate your clothing to be able to put it back on. So you don't have to wash your garment too much. So it stays new longer.

-Merino wool is suitable for athletes, military and armed forces and emergency response workers etc. It offers an option that minimizes unpleasant odors for people who engage in activities that cause a lot of sweating, such as.

You can move freely in your Merino suit without the hassle of smelling bad.
